Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct quality audits across medical billing, coding, accounts receivable, denial management, and other revenue cycle processes to ensure compliance with client and regulatory standards.
- Identify documentation, process, compliance, and accuracy gaps, and provide detailed feedback to improve operational quality and performance.
- Partner with Quality Managers, Operations Leaders, and Training teams to develop corrective action plans, conduct coaching sessions, and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Review healthcare documentation, medical necessity, payer guidelines, compliance requirements, and business processes to ensure audit readiness and operational excellence.
- Prepare audit reports, analyze quality trends, maintain documentation, and support teams in consistently meeting productivity, quality, and compliance targets.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or allied healthcare education is preferred.
- 3+ years of overall healthcare revenue cycle experience, including at least 2 years in Quality Assurance or Quality Auditing within U.S. Healthcare RCM.
- Strong understanding of medical billing, coding, accounts receivable, payment posting, denial management, healthcare compliance, and quality methodologies.
- Experience working with healthcare platforms such as Epic, Athena, Kareo, or similar billing systems; CPC, CCS, CRCR, or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills with a strong focus on quality improvement and process excellence.
