SUMMARY

Implement, monitor, and manage food safety programs, as well as quality control systems designed to ensure product safety, security, and maintain world class HBH quality standards. Must be able to function autonomously, be self-directed, and provide frontline quality leadership.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and product quality procedures at HBH Ecommerce facility.
  • Provide timely feedback to operations personnel and QA Team regarding status of food safety and food quality issues. Train facility personnel on policies/procedures relating to SSOP’s, GMP’s, SOP’s, and product quality requirements.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of action plans to correct food safety and food quality deficiencies.
  • Performs QA checks via internal product evaluation forms and ensures product meets company standards.
  • Performs hourly SSOP, SOP, QA and HAACP monitoring.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and take corrective actions.
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Assist with production activities as needed. Develop process improvements.
  • Appropriate and timely responsiveness to correct product quality issues.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position has no direct reports.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1 year of quality assurance and/or production experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • USDA experience preferred

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school or equivalent.
  • HAACP Certification is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices preferred.
  • Ability to be self-directed, work with little supervision, and provide quality leadership.
  • Ability to identify and articulate product quality issues.
  • Ability to establish quality control procedures and produce written instructions and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Requires working in a cold environment.
  • Operations areas can be noisy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
