We are looking for a QA Analyst / Tester with Magento 2 expertise to help us ensure high quality and reliability across our projects. Role Overview You will be responsible for validating end-to-end eCommerce journeys, integrations, checkout flows, and performance across Magento 2 systems. Your work will directly impact customer experience, business conversions, and platform stability. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the development team to test Magento 2 web applications, extensions, custom modules, and storefronts. Understand functional and business requirements for eCommerce modules, including catalog, product attributes, cart, search, shipping, taxes, and checkout. Develop and execute detailed test cases covering: Functional testing UI/UX and responsive flows API & backend validation Database consistency checks Order lifecycle and inventory logic Test core Magento flows such as: Product listing and filtering Cart behavior and abandoned cart logic Guest vs. registered checkout Payment gateway integration (COD, Online, Wallets) Multi-store, multi-currency, and tax scenarios Validate third-party extensions, custom themes (including Hyv?), and performance optimization changes. Perform regression testing after each sprint or deployment. Identify bugs, classify severity, reproduce issues, and track to closure using project tools. Work with developers during debugging and release cycles to ensure accuracy and stability. Prepare testing documentation, QA reports, and defect logs. Monitor staging & production post-release performance and user flows. Magento 2 Specific Testing Scenarios (Examples) Attribute sets, configurable & bundle product tests Store View switching, multi-language validation Tier pricing, discount logic, catalog price rules Integration with ERP, shipping APIs, fulfillment services Order status automation: Pending ? Processing ? Shipped ? Complete Performance under high traffic or bulk import Cache, indexing & CDN behaviors (These points help candidates instantly understand real expectations in a Magento ecosystem.) Desirable Technical Expertise Proven experience testing eCommerce systems ? Magento 2 is mandatory . Understanding of Magento architecture: modules, themes, extensions, observers. Knowledge of Agile / SCRUM methodologies. Familiarity with developer tools: Postman, JMeter, Swagger, Git, MySQL. Exposure to automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) is a strong advantage. Ability to validate front-end UI consistency, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile responsiveness. Strong grasp of SDLC, STLC, UAT, and regression strategies. Soft Skills Analytical and detail-oriented mindset. Strong communication ? both written and verbal. Proactive, team-player mindset. Strong documentation and reporting ability. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving business needs. Education & Experience 1+ years of professional QA / Testing experience (preferred in eCommerce or Magento 2) BE (Computer/IT), MCA, BCA preferred Other graduates with strong QA experience will also be considered.
