They will have a strong understanding of industry standards and the ability to implement and maintain robust quality systems. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will work closely with other departments to ensure that quality measures are in place throughout the product development lifecycle. You will also be responsible for conducting audits, managing internal and external inspections, and ensuring all products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the quality assurance team on a daily basis.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and conduct internal and external quality audits regularly.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality standards are met.
- Analyze quality data and implement corrective action plans as necessary.
- Report quality performance indicators to senior management monthly.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Review and approve product specifications and technical documentation for quality.
- Train and mentor quality assurance personnel in quality management systems.
- Facilitate root cause analysis meetings and implement preventive measures.
- Communicate and enforce quality objectives across all departments effectively.
- Stay updated with the latest quality assurance methodologies and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in quality assurance, engineering, or related field required.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a quality assurance role.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team of professionals.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance standards and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
- Ability to work collaboratively across various departments and levels.
- Proficiency with quality management software and tools is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
