Description Key Result Areas And Activities : Data Quality Assurance : Develop and implement data quality standards and processes. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure data integrity. Identify and resolve data discrepancies in collaboration with data teams. Software Testing & Validation : Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases for data validations. Validate data accuracy, transformation logic, and performance of reporting tools. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing. Process Improvement : Continuously refine QA processes to align with evolving project needs. Troubleshoot issues and adapt testing strategies accordingly. Reporting & Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of QA processes, test results, and issue logs. Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders. Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with developers, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively across technical and non-technical audiences. Work And Technical Experience Must Have Skills : Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices. Hands-on experience in testing Python-based applications. Solid knowledge of SQL and working with large datasets. Good knowledge on using Excel and Advanced Excel for validation. Ability to define QA strategies and ensure end-to-end quality ownership. Exposure to automation testing concepts and tools (e.g., Selenium, PyTest) for future scalability. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to design and execute comprehensive test cases. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Good To Have Skill Proficiency in data validation and testing of statistical or ML models. Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira. Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell) for automation. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and architecture. Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipelines, and APIs. Exposure to PowerBI. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Qualification Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in QA roles with a focus on data and BI testing. Relevant certifications in QA, data engineering, or BI tools are a plus. Qualities Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy. Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
