Quality Assurance Engineer
NEXUS AIDC
Job Description
Company Description
NEXUS is building the Data Center Operating System for the AI era: a single software control layer that unifies orchestration, full stack observability, FinOps, and intelligent workload analytics with a real time digital twin at its core. We don't build hardware and we don't train models. We build the layer that makes hyperscale AI infrastructure visible, predictable, and economically sustainable.
About the Role
We are hiring an autonomous, highly driven technical QA Engineer to serve as the final line of defense for our platform’s quality and user experience. This unique, dual-impact role sits squarely at the intersection of elite product validation and enterprise customer championing. You are not just running repetitive test scripts or reading from a support script. You will be embedded deep into the product cycle, exploring software and physical systems, identifying real world edge cases, and directly unblocking enterprise clients and hyperscalers when they interact with our platform. You are the critical link that ensures our software is bulletproof before deployment and flawless in production.
As a QA Engineer, you will
- Test web applications, interactive dashboards, API layers, device integrations, and systemic monitoring workflows under real world operational loads.
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans across functional, integration, regression, and full system testing cycles.
- Leverage advanced AI tools to generate, refine, and scale test cases, QA documentation, structured bug reports, and external support notes.
- Validate real time sensor and device telemetry, alerting thresholds, data reporting pipelines, and end user workflows for absolute precision.
- Isolate and document software anomalies with crystal clear reproduction steps, diagnostic logs, system telemetry, and expected behaviors.
- Partner directly with core frontend and backend engineering teams to reproduce complex system edge cases, prioritize issues, and verify production fixes.
- Directly support enterprise client deployments, manage live troubleshooting initiatives, and drive swift issue resolution.
- Own and update the operational vault of QA metrics, known issues logs, final release readiness checklists, and customer facing technical manuals.
- Channel critical product insights and friction points from both an internal quality assurance and an external customer support perspective to guide the product roadmap.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional tenure across software quality assurance, product validation, or technical systems support.
- Strong grasp of software testing methodologies, test lifecycle management, and structured, objective bug tracking.
- Proven experience testing high density web applications, analytical dashboards, API frameworks, or cloud native SaaS products.
- Good understanding of network communication, hardware devices, IoT sensors, or systemic monitoring infrastructure.
- A proactive willingness to seamlessly integrate advanced AI engineering tools into daily workflows to optimize output velocity.
- The analytical skill to critically review, calibrate, and validate AI generated test scripts, automated workflows, and complex QA matrices.
- High comfort level navigating system logs, troubleshooting payloads, capturing crisp visual context, and manipulating test data within platforms like JIRA.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex software anomalies into structured technical steps for engineers and clear, actionable updates for clients.
- A startup ready mindset marked by extreme ownership, a high level of personal accountability, and the capability to execute fluidly within a small, fast moving engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical experience utilizing Postman, Insomnia, or comparable API evaluation suites to stress test and validate endpoint contracts.
- Foundational understanding of database structures, with the ability to run baseline queries across relational systems like PostgreSQL or NoSQL environments.
- Prior operational exposure to Linux environments, containerized local environments like Docker, cloud platform ecosystems, or systemic monitoring tools.
- Direct familiarity with IoT hardware integrations, network monitoring architectures, or machine level communication protocols such as SNMP, MQTT, Modbus, BACnet, or similar infrastructure standards.
- Basic script writing agility using Python, JavaScript, or shell scripts to automate routine QA tasks, data validation, or log collection.
- Prior background managing live deployment initiatives or direct customer support interactions within a high stakes’ technical capacity.
Why Now
NEXUS is expanding globally. We are actively scaling our footprint across four critical theatres - North America, the GCC, Asia-Pacific, and Europe and we are hiring exceptional engineering, operational, and leadership talent to drive our organization forward. If you are an autonomous, high-conviction professional who wants your next decade of work to sit at the intersection of AI, infrastructure, and enterprise software at the precise moment the market is being decided - we want to talk to you.
