Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Kochi for a Quality Assurance Engineer. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for performing Automation Testing, executing test cases, ensuring quality assurance processes are followed, collaborating with development teams, and identifying defects in software products. The role involves maintaining documentation of test results, reporting bugs or issues, and contributing to the improvement of software testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Automation Testing of web applications and APIs
• Design and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger
• Validate database records using PostgreSQL
• Identify, document, and track bugs effectively
• Perform regression and functional testing
• Collaborate with developers in Agile/Scrum environment
• Contribute to test process improvements

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA
• Strong experience in Automation Testing
• Experience in API testing (FastAPI preferred)
• Basic understanding of SQL and PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with web application testing (React-based apps preferred)
• Knowledge of bug tracking tools (JIRA or similar)
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
