Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and curious QA Engineer with around 1 year of experience who is passionate about improving product quality.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in API testing using Postman, manual testing of web applications, and UI validation. This role requires someone who is proactive and enjoys exploring the product deeply to uncover hidden bugs, edge cases, and usability issues that may be missed during development.

You will work closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure high standards of product reliability and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Performing manual testing for web applications to ensure product stability and reliability.
• Conducting API testing using Postman to validate request/response structures, business logic, and error handling.
• Executing UI testing to verify usability, responsiveness, and feature functionality across the application.
• Understanding product workflows and identifying functional gaps or unexpected behaviors.
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs clearly using project management tools (such as Jira or similar platforms).
• Reproducing issues consistently and providing detailed bug reports to assist developers in debugging.
• Collaborating closely with developers and product managers to resolve issues efficiently.
• Performing regression testing after bug fixes or feature releases to ensure system stability.
• Suggesting improvements to enhance product quality, testing coverage, and QA processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1+ year of experience in QA or software testing.
• Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing.
• Experience in manual and UI testing of web applications.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Ability to identify edge cases, hidden bugs, and unusual user scenarios.
• Basic understanding of HTTP methods, APIs, and JSON structures.
• Good understanding of product workflows and user journeys.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

• Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or similar platforms.
• Basic understanding of SQL for data validation.
• Exposure to test case creation, test planning, and QA documentation.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools or frameworks is a plus.
