The Amazon Payments Products team is responsible for developing the platform and applications used to introduce new and innovative payment methods to customers as well as support Amazon’s global CoBrand and Private label credit cards along with the world’s largest rewards catalog, Shop with Points. MAPLE team (Marketing Automation Program and Learning Engine) is a machine learning recommendation engine built to support Amazon's financial products. MAPLE's mission is to recommend the right payments content, to the right customer with the right CX. To accomplish this mission, MAPLE builds front-end experiences, marketing automation, machine learning, and eligibility services The technology varies widely, ranging from large scale Distributed Engineering incorporating the latest from Machine Learning in the Big Data space to customer and mobile friendly User Experiences. We are an agile team, moving quickly in collaboration with our business to bring new features to millions of Amazon customers while having fun and filing new inventions along the way. Our preferred candidate possesses a high level of coding aptitude combined with a demonstrated passion for Quality Assurance. Our QAE's test code at the user level, both manually and with automated tools. Our QAE's are not just black box testers; they understand the software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests using a variety of frameworks. This person will be a key voice in the design and coding phases. They will define and implement quality gates for code changes and deliver on the promise that our user’s experience will be continually maintained or improved. You will develop high-quality test automation to drive lower operational costs and faster deployments. They will identify test strategies by understanding the features that are built and countries where it is being launched.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
• Experience in automation testing
• Experience in manual testing
• Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
• Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
