Job Title: QA Automation Engineer Location: Chennai (On-site) Experience: 2?5 Years (Flexible based on skills) Employment Type: Full-time Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure product quality. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automation tools, testing frameworks, and a solid understanding of QA methodologies in an Agile environment.Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing. Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing as required. Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects. Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews as part of an Agile/Scrum team. Maintain test documentation and ensure traceability using test management tools. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality delivery. Perform database validation and API testing using tools like Postman. Troubleshoot test failures and provide detailed defect analysis. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, etc. Experience with any one testing framework: TestNG, BDD (Cucumber), or TDD (JUnit). Strong scripting skills in one or more languages: Java, Python, or JavaScript. Knowledge of version control systems like Git. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, etc. Understanding of testing methodologies and QA best practices. Hands-on experience in database testing and API testing. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Working knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, etc. Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. Familiarity with cloud-based and cross-browser testing platforms. Nice to Have: Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) testing. Knowledge of security or mobile automation testing. Education: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
