Role Overview :

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with a strong foundation in automation testing and manual to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Unacademy’s web and mobile applications. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to deliver seamless user experiences at scale.

Key Responsibilities :

● Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify functional, UI, and usability issues.

● Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for regression and sanity testing.

● Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on product requirements.

● Build robust APIs following best practices and design principles.

● Design, Develop and execute API Automation with Automation 1st approach.

● Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage, and release quality.

● Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of defects.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

● 1–3 years of experience in Software Testing (Automation + Manual)

● Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar)

● Experience with API testing tools like Postman or similar

● Experience in writing test scripts using Java / Python

● Experience in writing/executing Load/Stress tests

● Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA or similar)

● Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Good to Have :

● Experience testing EdTech, SaaS, or consumer-facing applications

● Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)

● Basic understanding of performance or security testing
