Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking a meticulous and tech-savvy Quality Assurance Analyst/Website Tester to ensure our websites and mobile apps are functional, user-friendly, and error-free across various devices and browsers. As a Website Tester, you will be responsible for identifying issues, suggesting improvements, and ensuring that the user experience meets our high standards. Your role will be critical in delivering a seamless, high-quality web experience for our users.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual functionality testing and UI testing for web and mobile applications, focusing on pixel-perfect UI/UX, responsiveness, and E-commerce checkout flows.
• Execute detailed regression, exploratory, and negative testing to identify bugs and usability issues.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure new changes have not broken existing functionality.
• Design, write, and execute clear, concise test cases and scenarios.
• Log, track, and manage defects in detail using bug tracking tools like Jira or Asana.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing using platforms like BrowserStack or LambdaTest.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to provide clear feedback and ensure requirements are met.
• Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and effort estimation.
• Clearly communicate testing progress, defect status, and quality reports to the team.
  
  

Skills

• 3+ years of work experience in Manual Testing for web and mobile (iOS/Android) applications.
• Proven experience in functional, GUI, and regression testing.
• Strong experience testing E-commerce platforms and responsive, pixel-perfect user interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Asana) and cross-browser platforms (BrowserStack, LambdaTest).
• Proficiency in using Browser Developer Tools (inspecting elements, console, network).
• Solid understanding of the Agile/Scrum development lifecycle and QA methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• A "user-first" mindset, with a strong sense of user empathy and a passion for quality.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the proven ability to manage and test multiple projects at the same time.
  
  

Qualification

UG: BCA or Bachelor of Engineering (preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology)

PG: MCA or Similar
