Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Analyst in Home Health Coding who will be responsible for reviewing patient medical records and ensuring accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures. The role involves maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines, and supporting the team to achieve optimal performance and reimbursement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

·        Review and audit medical records to ensure accurate assignment of codes (CPT, ICD-9-CM, HCPCS).

·        Ensure compliance with AMA guidelines, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology standards.

·        Associate diagnosis codes with appropriate procedure codes and ensure correct sequencing for accurate billing and reimbursement.

·        Monitor and maintain quality, productivity, and overall project performance.

·        Distribute workload effectively among team members.

·        Support the team in resolving work-related issues and provide guidance on coding-related queries.

·        Escalate issues impacting workflow and follow up for timely resolution.

·        Learn and implement new client systems and processes.

·        Coordinate and conduct training sessions for new hires and existing team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·        Minimum 4 years of experience in Medical Coding, specifically in HHC.

·        Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-9-CM, and HCPCS coding systems.

·        Thorough understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

·        Familiarity with AMA guidelines and healthcare compliance standards.

·        Proven experience in quality auditing and team handling.

·        Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
