QA – Test Engineer

About Position:

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer / SDET with proven success in testing (Automation and Manual). The role requires hands-on experience in test case planning, assessments, script development, and maintenance, along with expertise in automation tools, API testing, and AI-driven test optimization. The candidate will work in an Agile environment, collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality software while continuously improving testing efficiency and coverage

What You'll Do:

• Perform testing across both Automation and Manual approaches
• Plan test cases, perform assessments, develop scripts, and maintain test suites
• Develop automation scripts using Playwright and Typescript
• Execute API testing using Rest Assured or similar clients
• Work with test management tools such as qTest, JIRA, Jmeter, Load Runner
• Leverage AI-driven solutions to enhance test coverage, defect detection, and efficiency
• Use AI tools like Github Copilot to assist in test implementation
• Work in Agile methodology with cross-functional teams to build high-quality software
• Collaborate with teams, share feedback, and follow best practices across multiple Agile teams
• Continuously improve testing processes through collaboration and feedback
• Follow software testing lifecycle (STLC) and understand software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Proven success in testing (Automation and Manual)
• 5-8 years of experience in test case planning, assessments, script development, and maintenance
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks and developing automation scripts
• Experience with Playwright and Typescript for automation
• Strong hands-on experience with API testing using Rest Assured or similar clients
• Experience with test management tools such as qTest, JIRA, Jmeter, Load Runner
• Knowledge and expertise in AI-driven solutions for improving test coverage and efficiency
• Hands-on experience with AI tools like Github Copilot
• Proficiency in Agile methodology and working in collaborative cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong collaboration mindset and ability to work effectively in team environments
