Project

We're seeking a Manual Tester for a Nordic finance project. This project specifically targeting the meticulous handling of testing activities in investors related systems. The candidate should possess the ability to collaborate with the Team, design and manage test scenarios, work closely with stakeholders from business and IT. An additional advantage is the banking domain. We are looking for a person who is characterized by high adaptability, a proactive approach to the tasks entrusted to them and shows a high predisposition to learn new responsibilities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Creating and executing test scenarios and test cases based on business and technical requirements
• Performing manual tests on various environments, as well as API tests
• Analyzing test results and ensuring proper documentation of testing activities
• Identifying, reproducing, and reporting defects while tracking them through to resolution
• Preparing regular test summaries and quality reports for project stakeholders
• Working closely with developers, analysts, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Creating, managing, and validating test data using SQL to support various testing scenarios
  
  

Expected competences and knowledge

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in manual software testing
• Very good understanding of API testing, including practical experience with Postman/Swagger and REST API concepts
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence, including their use in defect tracking and test documentation
• Good understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Hands-on experience in working with SQL
• Great English language skills - both spoken and written
• Communicativeness, openness, commitment, and a willingness for continuous development

• Familiarity with SWIFT standards and ISO messaging formats
• Knowledge of securities and capital markets processes
• Understanding of settlement, issuance, and custody processes
