QA Software Tester – Web Testing

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Software Tester to ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of web applications. The ideal candidate will design and execute test cases, identify defects, collaborate with developers, and help deliver reliable, high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business and functional requirements.
Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Perform manual testing of web applications across different browsers and devices.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
Conduct functional, UI, usability, compatibility, and regression testing.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to resolve issues.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Validate application performance and responsiveness.
Maintain testing documentation and generate test reports.
Ensure software releases meet quality standards before deployment.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience in manual web application testing.
Knowledge of test case design techniques.
Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, and browser developer tools.
Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
