The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet the quality standards and requirements specified by the project owners, applicable regulations, and industry best practices. The QA Engineer focuses on setting up and monitoring the quality processes and systems to prevent quality issues from arising.

Job Description

• Work with QA Head ,project managers, engineers, and architects to define quality standards for construction materials, processes, and end products.
• Proficient in conducting inspections,audits and testing.
• Knowledge in concrete mix design and site pouring procedures.
• Good knowledge of executing and inspection of finishing activities.
• Experienced in preparing and obtaining approvals from clients for method statements,material submittals,material inspections and work inspection.
• Ensure that all phases of construction, from foundation to finishing, are completed according to the established quality plan.
• Ensure that all designs, specifications, and plans meet the quality requirements.
• Ensure that subcontractors and vendors adhere to quality standards and processes.
• Identify, document, and resolve any quality issues or non-conformances during construction.
• Conduct regular training sessions for construction teams and subcontractors on quality requirements and processes.
• Work closely with clients, project managers, and regulatory bodies to address any quality concerns and maintain compliance.
• Prepare reports on quality assurance activities, highlighting any deviations and recommending corrective actions.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction QA/QC.
• Experience in quality management systems (QMS) in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and quality certifications (ISO 9001, etc.).
• Good knowledge of IS codes.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in quality inspection and testing techniques.
