Summary:

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead – Automation to lead and drive the automation testing strategy for our applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building automation frameworks, leading QA teams, and ensuring high-quality product releases through effective automated and manual testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the QA automation strategy, planning, and execution across multiple projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web and API applications.
• Create and maintain automated regression test suites to improve release quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and Business Analysts to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Review test cases, automation scripts, and ensure adherence to QA best practices and standards.
• Monitor test execution, track defects, and ensure timely resolution using tools like JIRA.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA team members.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prepare and present test metrics, reports, and quality insights to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 15 years of experience in Software Testing, with 2–3 years in a QA Lead role.
• Strong hands-on experience in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience in automation framework development using Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong experience with API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
• Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Good knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
