Job Title: Playwright Automation Engineer

Location: Offshore Remote / Hybrid (Noida, Gurgaon)

Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM IST

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Playwright Automation Engineer with strong experience in modern test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Playwright, solid programming skills, and experience working in CI/CD environments to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright

Perform end-to-end, API, and integration testing

Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure quality across releases

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools

Execute test cases and analyze results to improve test coverage

Participate in requirement analysis and test planning

Must-Have Skills

5+ years of experience in software testing, with strong focus on automation

3+ years of experience with Playwright

Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as:

Jenkins

GitLab CI

Azure DevOps

Experience in:

API Testing

Database Testing (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)

Integration Testing

Strong knowledge of:

Version control systems (Git)

Defect tracking tools (JIRA)

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with Docker and Azure Cloud

Knowledge of Angular or UI frameworks

Experience with cloud-based testing tools like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs

Exposure to:

Performance Testing

Visual Regression Testing

Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail

• Experience integrating automation with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps pipelines
