Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and prepare comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
• Execute manual tests on web, mobile, or desktop applications across multiple environments.
• Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Perform regression, functional, smoke, and system testing.
• Work closely with developers to understand the system and resolve issues
• Validate bug fixes and coordinate re-testing with the development team.
• Prepare test reports and communicate test results and progress.
• Contribute to improving the QA process and suggest enhancements to testing practices.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes.
• Experience in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test documentation.
• Proficiency with bug tracking tools
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
• 4–5 years of experience in Manual Testing & QA processes
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, test case design & defect life cycle
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, Zephyr etc.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment with good communication skills
