QA Lead / Automation Tester (Playwright focus)

Summary

We are looking for a QA Leader / Senior Automation Tester with 4+ years of experience to drive our quality assurance strategy. You will help migrate our legacy automated tests (Katalon) to modern frameworks (Playwright) while ensuring high-quality delivery. This role is fully remote within Portugal, requiring only occasional visits to the client's site in Trofa.

Role Highlights

• Work Model: Fully Remote (Portugal-based).
• Travel: Occasional on-site visits to Trofa (only once every 1 or 2 months).
• Core Focus: QA Leadership, Test Automation Framework Migration (Katalon to Playwright).
• Experience: Minimum 4 years.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Test Automation for web applications and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright (knowledge of Katalon is a plus for migration purposes).
• Proven ability to lead QA strategies, define test plans, and mentor team members (Team Lead mindset).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies.
• Strong autonomy and communication skills for effective remote work.
• Availability for the scheduled occasional visits to Trofa.
