Every person at Tamm is expected to work alongside AI as a core part of their workflow, not as an afterthought.

As a QA Engineer, this means you leverage AI to dramatically expand test coverage, generate edge-case scenarios, automate regression suites, and validate complex user flows across payments, orders, and shopping experiences. You'll build structured AI workflows that help you test faster and deeper, catching issues that manual testing alone would miss. You understand that AI-augmented QA isn't about replacing your judgment; it's about amplifying it across a platform where real money, real inventory, and real customer trust are on the line.

What You'll Own

You'll be responsible for quality across a platform where mistakes have real consequences: failed payments, incorrect orders, inventory mismatches, and broken creator experiences. Your work protects:

• Payment flows: checkout, refunds, payouts, VAT calculations, and financial reconciliation
• Shopping experiences: product browsing, cart management, order placement, and delivery tracking
• Creator tools: store setup, website builder, product manufacturing interface, and dashboard
• Operational systems: warehouse management, inventory tracking, and order fulfillment pipelines
• Integration points: the seams between storefronts, factories, warehouses, and financial systems

What You'll Do

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for e-commerce, payments, and operational flows
• Build and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, E2E) using modern frameworks
• Develop AI-augmented testing workflows that generate test cases, identify edge cases, and expand regression coverage systematically
• Validate complex multi-step flows: order placement through payment processing through fulfillment through delivery
• Test across browsers, devices, and network conditions to ensure consistent user experiences
• Collaborate closely with backend and frontend engineers to catch issues early in the development cycle
• Own QA processes, define quality gates, and establish testing standards for the team
• Monitor production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive quality improvements

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of QA engineering experience with a focus on test automation
• Strong experience testing payment systems, e-commerce platforms, or transactional applications
• Proficiency with testing frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, Jest, or similar
• Understanding of API testing tools and practices (Postman, REST-assured, or equivalent)
• Experience writing and maintaining automated regression suites in CI/CD pipelines
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to enhance testing: generating test scenarios, automating test creation, and expanding coverage beyond what manual planning would achieve. This is mandatory, not optional.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to edge cases and failure modes
• Clear communication skills. You can articulate risk, severity, and impact to both engineers and stakeholders

Strong Pluses

• Experience testing payment gateways, checkout flows, or financial reconciliation systems is a major plus
• Background in e-commerce QA: shopping cart logic, inventory state management, order lifecycle
• Familiarity with performance testing and load testing tools (k6, JMeter, Artillery)
• Experience with security testing or PCI compliance validation
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (DataDog, Sentry, CloudWatch)
