As a QA Engineer, you will design and maintain automated testing frameworks, build robust test suites for microservices and UI workflows, and contribute to performance, reliability, and security testing across CORE?s S2P platform. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to champion shift-left quality engineering and help deliver highly reliable, scalable enterprise products. Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber (BDD) for APIs, microservices, and UI applications. ? Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to ensure end-to-end feature quality. ? Implement API testing frameworks and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline). ? Conduct load and performance testing using Apache JMeter, establish baselines, and identify bottlenecks. ? Perform SAST and DAST security testing to detect and mitigate vulnerabilities. ? Partner with engineering teams to triage defects, analyze root causes, and improve system testability. ? Support test data management, environment setup, and mocking strategies across environments. ? Define test strategies, coverage models, and automation standards aligned with product scalability. ? Build dashboards and reports to visualize test results, performance trends, and defect metrics. ? Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous learning. ? Required Skills & Experience ? Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field ? 5+ years of experience in software QA with strong automation and performance testing focus ? Strong proficiency in Java, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber (BDD) ? Hands-on experience with API & microservices testing using Postman, REST Assured ? Expertise in JMeter for performance/load testing ? Experience with SAST/DAST tools (SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, Veracode, etc.) ? Familiarity with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline) ? Understanding of AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes ? Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills ? Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional engineering teams ?? Nice to Have ? Experience testing procurement, financial, or enterprise SaaS platforms ? Familiarity with .NET Core & Postgres for improved debugging ? Knowledge of OpenTelemetry for observability and distributed tracing ? Exposure to security compliance frameworks (OWASP Top 10, PCI-DSS) ? Experience with Docker-based test environments and IaC tools ? Open-source or QA community contributions ??
