So, what’s the job?

• You'll design, execute, and maintain manual and automation test cases for web and mobile applications across various devices and platforms.
• You'll perform API testing to validate backend APIs and ensure data integrity, especially for integrations with Zurich Cover-More systems.
• You'll provide support for production releases, including smoke testing and post-release validation.
• You'll contribute to the continuous improvement of QA practices, tools, and documentation.
• You'll participate in root cause analysis and help develop defect prevention strategies.
• You'll ensure products deliver seamless and reliable experiences for Freely customers.
• You'll approach testing with a customer-centric mindset, considering real-world usage scenarios.
• You'll help build trust by ensuring quality and reducing defects in production.
• You'll communicate clearly and proactively with both technical and non-technical team members.
• You'll document test plans, scenarios, and results in accessible, well-structured formats.
• You'll escalate risks or issues early to avoid surprises during releases.
• You'll maintain a collaborative and positive approach in interactions with peers and stakeholders.
  
  

And what are we looking for?

• You'll bring 3+ years of experience testing web and mobile applications.
• You'll have a strong understanding of software testing concepts, the testing life cycle, and defect management.
• You'll be proficient in writing and executing both manual and automated test cases.
• You'll have hands-on experience with tools such as Cypress, Appium, JIRA, Confluence, Xray, and TestFlight.
• You'll be familiar with Agile/Scrum development environments.
• You'll have knowledge of iOS, Android, and web application behaviours.
• You'll demonstrate excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• You'll communicate effectively and maintain strong attention to detail.
• You'll benefit from bonus experience in the insurance domain, AWS ecosystem, and DynamoDB.
