Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong focus on Selenium-based automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and stability of our software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and project leads to identify issues, define testing strategies, and drive improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Execute Test Plans: Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements.
• Manual and Automated Testing: Perform both manual and Selenium-based (equivalent, e.g., Playwright, Cypress) automated testing to validate software functionality, performance, security, and scalability.
• Defect Tracking and Management: Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Clickup). Work with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues.
• Regression Testing: Perform regression tests on existing features to ensure no new issues are introduced with updates or new releases.
• Test Automation: Build and maintain test automation frameworks (preferably with Selenium and Java/Python) and ensure comprehensive test coverage across the product lifecycle.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure the quality of the product.
• Performance and Load Testing: Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to ensure software stability under various conditions.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in testing methodologies and tools to increase efficiency and product quality.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• Testing Tools: Proficient with testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JMeter, etc.
• Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in programming or scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Version Control: Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Defect Tracking Tools: Experience with defect tracking and project management tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• API Testing: Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.
• CI/CD: Experience working with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, TravisCI).
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for identifying potential issues before they affect the end user.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and work with development teams to implement solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Experience in mobile browser responsive testing .
• Familiarity with BDD (Behavior Driven Development) frameworks like Cucumber.

Required Background:

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree  in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of work experience as an AI Engineer.
