Job Description

Job Title: QA Automation Tester

Location: Boston, MA

Job Summary

We are looking for a strong QA Automation Tester for its engagement with client in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate must have solid hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium and Java and a strong background in financial services environments.

This role requires deep understanding of automation frameworks, regression testing, and CI/CD integration within enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium and Java
Develop and enhance automation frameworks
Perform Functional, Integration, System, and Regression testing
Execute SIT and support UAT cycles
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
Work closely with developers and business analysts in Agile/Scrum setup
Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools
Validate data through backend/database testing (SQL preferred)

Required Skills (Must Have)

6+ years of QA experience with strong focus on Automation
Hands-on expertise in Selenium and Java (Mandatory)
Experience building automation frameworks from scratch or enhancing existing ones
Strong experience in Regression & Functional testing
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, etc.
Experience in Financial Services domain (Asset Management experience preferred)
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
