Job Description

About the role:

• Design and maintain automated test frameworks using Python (pytest / unittest) for APIs and backend services
• Develop and execute UI tests for React applications using Jest and React Testing Library
• Perform end-to-end testing of user workflows using tools like Playwright or Cypress
• Collaborate closely with developers to embed testing into the SDLC and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyse test results, identify defects, and drive continuous improvement in system reliability and quality
• Document test cases, results, and any issues encountered during the testing process.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.
• Support manual testing efforts when required to meet project deadlines.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

A Successful QA Automation Tester Should Have

• Automation experience in Backend / API testing and Frontend / UI testing
• Experience building or contributing to automation framework
• Experience with Python and Playwright
• Experience within Python and React environments
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• Strong ability to context switch across multiple streams of work
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
• Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
