We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Lead to join our Quality Assurance team. This role requires a highly skilled professional with strong domain expertise, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of automation strategies. The ideal candidate will lead a team of QA engineers, drive automation initiatives, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the QA automation team in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts.
• Develop and maintain a scalable and efficient automation framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Product Management, DevOps) to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to QA engineers on best practices for test automation.
• Identify and mitigate bottlenecks, risks, and issues in the automation process.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new automation tools and technologies.
• Align testing activities with project timelines and quality standards.
• Drive the adoption of automated testing in the CI/CD pipeline.
• Monitor test results, analyze defects, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
• Participate in the recruitment and training of new team members.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in QA automation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript) for test automation.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, Git, or equivalent).
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms and environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman and REST Assured.
