Job Description Responsibilities - Build well-designed, well-engineered, stable, scalable automation scripts for the products and webservices. Follow software design best practices such as continuous integration, test-driven development, and regular deployments for the automation. Be passionate about quality, process, programming, and investing in general. Solve investors' problems with technology, understanding market chaos at work and crafting technically appropriate interactive experiences to communicate effectively with individual investors. Take ownership of the success of the team with a "gets things done" attitude. Analyse and remediate production issues and build instrumentation and operational readiness into the systems architecture. Seek understanding of and opportunities to leverage new technologies. Have or desire to become an AWS certified professional Work with front-end and back-end engineers to create automation script for mobile apps and backend APIs. Work with front-end and back-end engineers to ensure product quality before releases and at the time of development. Mentoring junior members of the team. Stay up to date on emerging technologies. Requirements - These are the most important skills, qualities, etc. that we'd like for this role. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field in software development with 1.5 to 3 years of experience. Be passionate about quality, process, programming, and investing in general, seeing opportunities for improvement, seizing them, and then sharing your findings with others. Experience with testing of mobile applications and REST APIs. Solid experience with Java, Javascript, TestNG, Appium, Postman Knowledge of AWS / Cloud would be a plus Knowledge of DevOps engineering concepts, CICD and tools like SonarCube, Harness, Splunk, NewRelic etc Strong experience in Automated Testing of Financial application and market data Preferred Exposure and know-how of performance testing and security testing tools An understanding of how to protect web applications from common security vulnerabilities. Should be self-driven engineer with desire to use practical and professional concepts in QA along with application of QA standards and procedures to resolve routine issues Should be able to write use cases based on product requirements, execute them and report issues in bug tracking system Should be self-starter, lead and self-contributing to the QA team to build robust and flexible Automated Testing Framework Helps QA community to learn Automation, impart necessary technical knowledge Be organized and able to remain productive even when you have multiple deliverables. Experience working in Scrum-based methodologies Highly motivated individual with the potential and desire to learn new technologies and take on an increasing level of responsibility within the technology team. Mandatory Skill Very good hands-on and good knowledge of Java, Javascript, TestNG, Appium, Postman, Appium based automation, automation using Xcode, API testing, RestAssured.
