QA Automation Engineer

Job Title: QA Engineer Position: Senior QA Engineer Experience Required: 5-7 Years Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a highly experienced QA Engineer with 5 to7 years of hands-on experience in Manual & Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing test strategies, frameworks, and leading end-to-end quality initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases. - Lead QA efforts across sprint cycles and coordinate with cross-functional teams. - Develop automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar tools. - Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, API, mobile, and performance testing. - Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions). - Work with tools like JIRA, TestRail, ALM, BrowserStack, Postman, JMeter, Git. - Ensure product quality by identifying defects, risks, and gaps. - Mentor junior QA team members. - Collaborate with developers to clarify requirements and drive quality improvements. Required Skills - Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java. - Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. - Experience with API testing (Postman/RestAssured). - Knowledge of SQL, DevOps basics, and cloud environments. - Strong debugging and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Experience with mobile testing (Android/iOS). 4. Preferred Skills - Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber. - Experience in Java Script/Typescript. - Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter/Gatling. - Knowledge of accessibility testing and security testing basics. Qualifications - Bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.
