Job Title: Python Lead Developer Location: Chennai- Hybrid-3 days a week Experience: 8?10 years Employment Type: Contract Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Python Lead Developer with strong experience in Python programming, SQL, AWS services, and Apache Airflow. The ideal candidate will lead the development of robust data and backend solutions, guide a team of developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable, high-performing systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of Python developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and backend systems using Python and Airflow. Work with AWS services (such as S3, Lambda, EC2, Glue, Redshift, RDS, etc.) for cloud-based deployment and data management. Write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance for large-scale data systems. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure efficient and scalable data workflows. Implement best practices in coding standards, version control, CI/CD, and testing. Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues. Participate in architectural discussions and provide technical leadership in design decisions. Required Skills & Experience: 6+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role. Strong expertise in Python (OOP, APIs, data processing, frameworks such as Flask/FastAPI preferred). Advanced proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.). Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure. Strong understanding and practical experience with Apache Airflow for orchestration and scheduling. Strong Knowledge of ETL development, data integration, and data modeling concepts. Experience with CI/CD tools and Git-based workflows. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
