What You'll Be Doing (The ERPNext Focus) Be the ERP Architect: Design, develop, and deploy robust, high-performance customizations and new modules within the ERPNext system using the Frappe Framework (Python and JavaScript). Lead the Customization Charge: Own the entire development cycle for custom DocTypes, Workflows, Server Scripts, and Client Scripts , ensuring all solutions meet complex business requirements. Bridge Functionality and Code: Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements (in areas like Accounting, HR, Inventory, and CRM) and translate them into technical specifications and scalable ERP solutions. Integrate and Optimize: Write clean, efficient Python code for integrations with various external APIs and systems, and optimize MariaDB/MySQL database queries within the Frappe ecosystem. Embrace Agility: Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team, utilizing Scrum and other Agile methodologies to deliver mission-critical enterprise projects on time and within budget. Requirements Requirements: Your Tech Stack & Experience You're a perfect fit if you have been practicing the below for greater than 5 years in a professional environment: Frappe/ERPNext Mastery (Crucial): Deep, demonstrable experience in developing, customizing, and managing applications using the Frappe Framework and ERPNext . Python Mastery: Exceptional proficiency in Python for backend logic, server scripts, and API development. ERP Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of core ERP business processes (e.g., Sales, Purchase, Manufacturing, Accounts). Database Champion: Strong working knowledge of MariaDB/MySQL and experience with database schema design and query optimization within the Frappe architecture. Frontend Familiarity (Plus): Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Jinja for front-end customizations and report generation within Frappe. Problem-Solver Extraordinaire: An analytical mindset for debugging, performance tuning, and resolving complex technical and business-logic challenges. Tech Prowess Required: A Frappe Whiz: Implementing, customizing, and maintaining core and custom ERPNext modules. A Bench Master: Proficient use of the Bench CLI for managing Frappe/ERPNext installations, backups, and site administration. An API Architect: Experience in designing and integrating third-party services using RESTful APIs, often integrated via Frappe's API.
