About The Opportunity Operating in the Enterprise Software & IT Services sector, we build scalable web applications, integrations, and data-driven platforms for clients across finance, healthcare, and logistics. Our engineering teams deliver reliable backend systems, high-throughput APIs, and automation that power critical business workflows. We are hiring an on-site Python Developer in India to join a hands-on product/engagement team focused on delivering production-grade software. Location: India (On-site) Role & Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python frameworks (Django, FastAPI, Flask). Develop and optimize relational database models and SQL queries; implement migrations and performance tuning for production workloads. Containerize applications and support deployment pipelines using Docker; collaborate on CI/CD and release automation. Write and maintain unit and integration tests (pytest), participate in code reviews, and enforce code quality and best practices. Work cross-functionally with product, frontend, and QA to translate requirements into reliable features and troubleshoot live incidents. Implement observability (logging, metrics), performance optimizations, and security hardening for backend services. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have Python Django FastAPI Flask RESTful APIs SQL PostgreSQL Git Docker Preferred AWS Celery Redis Additional Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of professional experience in backend development with demonstrable project work in Python-based systems. Experience with microservices architecture, message queues, and building scalable services. Familiarity with Agile delivery, CI/CD tools, automated testing, and application observability.
