The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability across all components. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy Django-based applications with a strong focus on performance and scalability. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services for web and mobile applications. Work extensively with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL) for data modeling, query optimization, and stored procedures. Implement authentication, authorization, and data security within Django applications. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code following best practices and coding standards. Integrate with third-party APIs and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams ? including front-end developers, DevOps, and product managers ? to deliver end-to-end solutions. Conduct unit testing , participate in code reviews , and support CI/CD pipeline implementation. Troubleshoot application issues and ensure smooth deployment and post-release support. Stay current with emerging Python frameworks, libraries, and technologies. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor?s / Master?s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 6?9 years of proven experience as a Python Developer , with Django as the primary development framework. Strong proficiency in Python (3.x) programming and Django ORM . Deep understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL) and complex SQL query writing . Hands-on experience with RESTful API design and implementation. Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and agile development environments. Good understanding of software architecture patterns (MVC, MVT) . Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript , and their integration with Django templates. Exposure to containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with asynchronous frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, or Celery). Knowledge of caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached). Familiarity with continuous integration/deployment tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Understanding of microservices architecture and API gateway design. Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as PyTest or Unittest. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Proactive approach to learning and adopting new technologies.
