Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong programming skills and hands-on experience in back-end development, cloud services, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Python development, REST API frameworks, and cloud-based applications, along with a solid understanding of Agile development practices. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop, maintain, and optimize applications using Python with strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. • Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST Framework. • Work with the Mendix low-code platform and perform automated testing using Menditect. • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI. • Utilize AWS cloud services including computer, storage, monitoring, and scheduling tools to build scalable applications. • Write optimized SQL queries and manage databases using PostgreSQL and Amazon Redshift. • Design and maintain scheduler jobs in Control-M, including batch processes, workflows, and event-based triggers. • Perform regression testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure stable releases across environments. • Debug, analyze, and optimize application performance to improve efficiency and reliability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and product teams within Agile/Scrum environments. • Follow best practices for version control using Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews. Required Skills: • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Python development. • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and unit testing frameworks. • Experience working with REST API frameworks such as Fast API, Flask, or Django REST Framework. • Familiarity with Mendix platform and Menditect testing tools. • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. • Experience in CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation. • Strong proficiency in Git version control and collaborative development workflows. • Solid experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, and Amazon Redshift. • Experience with Control-M scheduling and batch workflow management. • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
