What You'll Do

• Own and maintain backend systems using Python, Django, and FastAPI.
• Build and manage APIs using Django REST Framework and FastAPI.
• Work with frontend and product teams on integration and delivery.
• Design and optimize databases, queries, and schemas in PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Build data pipelines, ETL workflows, and batch/streaming processes.
• Manage containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, AWS infrastructure, and system reliability.
• Participate in architectural decisions as the platform scales.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience in Python and Django.
• Strong experience with Django REST Framework. FastAPI experience preferred.
• Deep SQL knowledge — query optimization, indexing, schema design, performance tuning.
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL, and tools like Airflow or Celery.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Working knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Redshift).
• Familiarity with Redis, Elasticsearch, or similar tools is a plus.
• Comfortable with Git workflows, CI/CD, and infrastructure practices.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering and system design.
• Clear communicator across technical and non-technical teams.
• Self-directed with high attention to detail and quality.
