Job Description

A technology-first role in the Software Product & Enterprise SaaS sector, focused on building scalable, secure backend platforms and customer-facing APIs for high-availability applications. The team delivers cloud-ready services and performance-optimized microservices used across web and mobile clients.

This is an on-site engineering role based in India. Primary job title (standardized): Python Backend Engineer.

Role & Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Python frameworks (Django / FastAPI).
Build and optimise data models and SQL queries for PostgreSQL to ensure low-latency, high-throughput data access.
Containerise applications and manage deployment workflows with Docker and CI/CD tooling to support reliable releases.
Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams to define API contracts, integrate services, and deliver end-to-end features.
Implement observability, logging, and performance monitoring to detect and resolve production issues quickly.
Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and adherence to security and reliability best practices.
