Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer with expertise in data validation and quality assurance. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across multiple systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in scripting languages and automation frameworks, with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve data anomalies effectively. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated test cases to validate data integrity, quality, and consistency across diverse data sources and systems. Identify, analyse, and resolve data discrepancies to maintain high data standards. Utilize automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit to streamline testing and validation processes. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting for continuous data quality assurance. Recognize, document, and report data quality issues, anomalies, and trends. Use issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) to log, monitor, and manage issues through resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, QA analysts, developers, and business stakeholders) to ensure reliable and timely data delivery. Continuously enhance automation strategies, tools, and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and accuracy. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as an Automation Engineer, QA Engineer, or in a similar role with a focus on data validation. Strong hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit) and API testing Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting. Solid understanding of data quality principles, testing methodologies, and best practices. Experience using issue tracking and reporting tools such as JIRA. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Strong communication and documentation abilities. Skills: Selenium, Testing, Python, JavaScript, Automation Testing, API Testing Must-Haves: Proven experience as an Automation Engineer, QA Engineer, or in a similar role with a focus on data validation.
