About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated AI Automation & Agentic Systems Engineer to design, develop, and enhance intelligent automation solutions within our engineering organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Python-based automation, coupled with hands-on experience in Generative AI, AI agents, and modern automation frameworks. This role requires ownership, innovation, and the ability to build scalable AI-powered automation solutions that improve engineering productivity and software quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, workflow, and system validation.
• Build AI-powered automation solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, and agentic workflows.
• Develop internal AI copilots, productivity assistants, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-based knowledge systems.
• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows.
• Create evaluation frameworks to improve AI agent performance, reliability, and reduce hallucinations.
• Collaborate with architects, software developers, QA, and validation teams to deliver high-quality automation solutions.
• Optimize automation architecture for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex automation and AI-related issues while ensuring robust engineering practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of automation standards, AI capabilities, and development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Python programming.
• Extensive experience with Selenium and/or Playwright automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of automation architecture, framework design, and software engineering principles.
• Experience in software product development and engineering environments.
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following:
• Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Machine Learning (ML)
• Generative AI
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
• Hands-on experience integrating OpenAI APIs or similar Large Language Model (LLM) platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments.
• Excellent debugging, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building Agentic AI Systems.
• Knowledge of Vector Databases (Pinecone, ChromaDB, FAISS, Weaviate, Milvus, etc.).
• Familiarity with AI observability and evaluation tools.
• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP), tool-calling integrations, and developer productivity tooling.
• Exposure to engineering, product development, or semiconductor environments.
• Candidates with strong automation expertise and moderate AI exposure—or strong AI expertise with automation experience—are encouraged to apply.

Educational Qualification

• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant engineering disciplines.
• Civil, Mechanical, and Biotechnology graduates will not be considered
