Role Description The Purchasing Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ludhiana. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including processing purchase requisitions, preparing and tracking purchase orders, and coordinating with vendors and internal departments. The Purchasing Executive will evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services required for MRPL’s real estate and hospitality projects. The role involves maintaining accurate records of purchases, monitoring inventory levels, and adhering to company policies and compliance standards. The Purchasing Executive will collaborate closely with project, finance, and operations teams to ensure cost-effective procurement and uninterrupted project execution.

Qualifications

  • Strong procurement and purchase management skills, including experience handling Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions.
  • Knowledge of purchasing processes, vendor evaluation, and negotiation within real estate, construction, or related industries.
  • Effective Communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Ability to use ERP or procurement software and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work within defined budgets and timelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally in real estate, construction, or infrastructure projects.
