Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Executive located in Valsad. Responsibilities include managing purchase orders and requisitions, streamlining procurement processes, and ensuring efficient and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services. The role also involves maintaining vendor relationships, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely deliveries. Strong communication and coordination with internal teams and suppliers will be crucial to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in managing Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Management processes
• Strong knowledge and experience in Procurement
• Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with vendors and internal teams
• Organizational and negotiation skills to optimize purchasing efficiency
• Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance
• Coordination with vendor regarding pruchase orders that have already been given to make sure that stock in hand is available if required on urgent basis.
• Maintains a physical stock of kraft paper raw material , as per regular inventory that are required on daily basis and follows up with the paper mill on daily basis.
• Maintains the MSL record in the ERP software and ensures the stock in hand and follow the FIFO method in order to keep track on the same.
• Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Knowledge of inventory management and basic financial principles is a plus
• Prior experience in the packaging or manufacturing sector is an advantage
