Role Description The Purchasing Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for steel structures and related materials. This role involves processing purchase requisitions, preparing and issuing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records of all purchasing transactions. The Purchasing Executive will source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and coordinate deliveries to align with project timelines and production schedules. Daily tasks include liaising with internal project, engineering, and production teams, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards. The role also requires regular follow-up with vendors, resolution of delivery or invoicing issues, and continuous improvement of purchasing processes to support operational efficiency and cost control.
Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Purchase Management, including handling Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions.
  • Solid understanding of Procurement processes, vendor sourcing, and negotiation.
  • Effective Communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in construction, steel structures, manufacturing, or related industries is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with ERP or purchasing software, and basic MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to analyze costs, compare quotations, and make data-driven purchasing decisions.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
  • Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, commerce, business administration, or a related field preferred.
