YOUR TASKS

• Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies for the organization.
• Evaluate supplier options according to prices, quality etc. and determine the best choices.
• Discover and purchase new products and check the suppliers' quality of service.
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure the most advantageous terms.
• Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time.
• Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
• Assess, manage and mitigate risks related to procurement.
• Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Coordinate with vendors for timely and cost-effective delivery of orders.
• Train and supervise junior staff in efficient procurement processes and practices.
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure all operations are in line with legal and company standards.
• Deal effectively with challenges with supplier companies or delivery schedules.
• Manage every aspect of the supply chain and notify the senior management team of any possible obstacles to ideal efficiency.
  
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5- 8 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management required.
• Proven history of effective supply management.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent negotiation skills required.
• Exceptional ability to conceptualize large-picture projects and foresee challenges and needs to be addressed.
• Strong problem solving, decision making and financial analysis skills.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
• Proficiency in relevant procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with vendor management and sourcing is desired.
• Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management, such as Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), is a strong plus.
