Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound Purchase Executive with experience in construction procurement. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor management, and cost analysis, along with excellent negotiation and coordination skills.


Key responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end procurement of construction materials such as cement, concrete, steel, aggregates, electrical and plumbing materials, etc.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors/suppliers for project requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze Comparative Statements (CSQ) for procurement decisions.
  • Negotiate with vendors for best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and project teams for material planning and requirements.
  • Ensure timely purchase orders (PO) issuance and delivery tracking.
  • Monitor material quality, quantity, and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain proper procurement records, documentation, and reports.
  • Ensure cost control and adherence to project budgets.
  • Develop strong relationships with vendors for long-term association.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering / Supply Chain / Procurement
  • 6-10 years of experience in procurement within the construction industry
