Role Description The Public Speaking and Phonics Teacher for domestic students is a remote, contract role focused on delivering engaging online lessons that build confidence in speaking and strengthen foundational phonics skills. The teacher will prepare structured lesson plans, conduct live interactive sessions, and use age-appropriate activities to improve pronunciation, articulation, vocabulary, and public speaking techniques. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. The role also involves collaborating with the academic team to align content with Fantastiqo’s learning standards and maintaining clear communication with parents or guardians when required.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience instructing children in public speaking and/or phonics.
• Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills to design structured, engaging, and level-appropriate sessions.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken English and the ability to explain concepts in a simple, supportive manner.
• Candidates should possess Training skills to guide learners through practice, feedback, and skill development in a virtual classroom setting.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field are beneficial.
• Prior experience with online teaching platforms, digital classroom tools, and student assessment is preferred.
• Patience, cultural sensitivity, and a learner-centric approach to teaching are highly valued.
• Availability to work flexible hours to accommodate student schedules within domestic time zones is an advantage.
