Key Responsibilities
- Proposal Development & Strategy
- Manage the end-to-end proposal process for complex CDMO projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical, regulatory, finance, operations, BD) to design tailored solutions.
- Client Engagement
- Serve as the primary contact during the proposal phase, clarifying requirements and negotiating scope, lead the customer visits and CAP calls (Custom advisory plan).
- Content Ownership
- Prepare comprehensive proposals including technical approach, timelines, costing, supports pricing, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Governance & Compliance
- Ensure proposals meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Performance Metrics
- Monitor KPIs such as win rate, proposal turnaround time, and client feedback.
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Ability to translate customer and market insights into actionable business opportunities.
- Financial acumen and understanding of pricing and profitability.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in proposal management, project management, marketing or commercial strategy within pharma or CDMO environment.
- Strong understanding of drug development and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills for client and internal stakeholder engagement.
- Direct influence on business growth and market positioning.
- Exposure to executive-level decision-making and pipeline considerations.
