Job Description

Job Responsibilities :

Develop business concepts into defined projects
Prepare project feasibility reports, cost estimates & execution plans
Prepare scope of work for detail Engineering Consultant
Design equipment & document numbering system
Prepare work breakdown structure
Detailed understanding and working as per Project Execution documents
Project completion on time, with in the budget
Ensure availability on time, the Engineering deliverables and materials for construction
Ensure implementation of uniform procedures and methods
Review, control & ensure optimal value on time, cost, resources & quality parameters
Prepare, coordinate & control schedule for issue of Engineering deliverables
Coordination with procurement group for Project purchases
Coordination with Project Control and Cost Control team
Coordination with construction group for construction related activities
Manage EPC contracts
Prepare Project close out & Technical capitalization reports
Coordinate with Engineering for preparing requisitions, provide assistance for material codification and for entry of requisitions in Procurement system
Coordinate with Procurement for vendor bids and for placement of purchase orders
Coordinate with Commercial for budget linking to Purchase requisitions
Coordinate with Expeditors for vendor follow up for the delivery of materials
Coordinate with Logistics team for booking the transport for materials
Coordinate with Customs department for clearance and for forwarding the materials to construction site
Coordinate with site Security, Material Managers for smooth transit & receipt of materials at Project Stores
Coordinate with Stores material managers for preparation of GRN
Coordinate with Accounts department for ensuring payments
Stabilization of plant
Coordinate among Projects, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Vendors, Contractors & Operations for smooth & efficient start-up & commissioning

Education Requirement :

BE/B.Tech I n Engineering (Respective Disciplines) Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Piping, Electrical & Instrumentation.

Experience Requirement :

Minimum 3-6 years of experience in project management functions for large scale plant or facility construc tion in the sectors of Refinery, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Oil & Gas, Energy etc.
