Seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead engineering retrofit initiatives across multiple operational facilities. Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead engineering retrofit initiatives across multiple operational facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong program management experience combined with engineering knowledge, vendor management expertise, and the ability to coordinate complex deployments in live operational environments. This role involves significant travel, cross-functional stakeholder management, milestone tracking, quality assurance, and successful execution of multiple site implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end execution of engineering retrofit projects across multiple operational sites.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure successful deployment and installation activities.
- Track project milestones, schedules, risks, and deliverables.
- Monitor quality of installation and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Partner with engineering, operations, maintenance, and other stakeholders throughout project execution.
- Review engineering documentation and validate implementation requirements.
- Manage temporary operational systems during retrofit activities.
- Resolve project issues and escalate risks when necessary.
- Travel extensively to project sites and provide onsite leadership during deployments.
- Drive projects to completion while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule commitments.
- 6+ years of Project or Program Management experience.
- Strong experience managing complex engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Experience coordinating vendors and multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
- Technical engineering background with the ability to understand engineering documentation.
- Networking knowledge and testing experience.
- Experience managing projects in live operational or production environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel frequently to project sites.
