Crouch Waterfall specialise in core areas of Bridges, Rail, Infrastructure, Buildings and Geotechnical Services, designing and coordinating projects from conception to completion.
The Position: Project Support Coordinator
We’re continuing our journey of growth and improvement across the business, and we’re looking for a Project Support Coordinator to support our Warrington team in delivering projects efficiently and confidently. You’ll work closely with engineers and project leads across a variety of projects, helping coordinate information, maintain accurate project data, support financial processes, and keep key project activities running smoothly.
This role plays an important part in improving how our projects operate day to day, enhancing visibility, supporting project governance, and freeing up our engineers to focus more on technical delivery and client work. Because the work we do varies, this position will suit someone who is comfortable adapting to changing priorities and managing slightly bespoke or shifting project needs.
Some of the main responsibilities of the Project Support Coordinator will include:
- Coordinate the flow of project information between engineers, project managers and finance to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Monitor project progress, including scope changes, risks, early warnings, key milestones and financial performance (revenue, costs, WIP and margin).
- Prepare and review applications for payment and project invoices prior to issue, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal processes.
- Support subcontractor administration, including cost approval and processing associated invoices.
- Maintain accurate project data in company systems (e.g., Simus, Salesforce), including updating project trackers and financial records.
- Assist Project Leads with the day‑to‑day use of Simus, Salesforce and related tools to support efficient delivery.
- Support compliance with BSI, RISQS and internal quality standards across project activities.
- Liaise with Document Control, where required, to ensure project documentation aligns with client and project requirements.
Preferred Profile
Alongside a commitment to our values of engineering excellence, client satisfaction, and sustainability and innovation, we are also looking for individuals that can bring the following:
- Experience coordinating project activities or supporting project teams in engineering, construction, rail or another technical environment.
- Experience coordinating between multiple teams or stakeholders, ensuring information and updates flow clearly and accurately.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and project data across systems and trackers.
- Strong financial awareness, including experience monitoring project costs, revenue, WIP or similar financial indicators.
- Confidence preparing or reviewing invoices, applications for payment or subcontractor cost information.
- Ability to work with multiple systems or CRMs (e.g., Simus, Salesforce or equivalent) and maintain accurate project data.
- Experience supporting compliance with industry, quality or audit standards.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt to varying project priorities or changing workflows.
- Clear, proactive communication skills and the confidence to liaise across engineering, finance and project delivery teams.
- Fluent in English with permanent right to work in the UK.
If you are organised, proactive and able to respond to shifting project needs, you’ll thrive in this role, working closely with engineers, project leads and finance colleagues to support effective project delivery across our Warrington office.
