Project Manager - Solar EPC (RE- RTC Solar+BESS)

Role Summary

Own the technical scope, BOM, costing and layout for Solar + BESS land parcels. It brings hands-on site experience, especially tracker execution, into a project-management seat.

Key Responsibilities

• BOM ownership — Build and maintain the full bill of materials for each parcel — modules, trackers, inverters, BESS, cables, transformers, BOS — at the right quantity and technical specifications
• Technical scope — Define the core scope and keep it consistent with the technical configuration and site conditions.
• Layout optimisation — Optimise plant layout — row pitch, block sizing, road and cable routing — for yield, land use and constructability, especially on the Rann of Kutch terrain.
• Costing accuracy — Cost the BOM and execution scope. Challenge rates, flag gaps and keep the parcel estimate tight and defensible.
• Execution readiness — Confirm each parcel is build-ready: design freeze, vendor readiness, logistics, site constraints and sequencing all checked.
• Site & terrain factors — Account for local conditions — soil, above-ground cable runs, wind, access — in design and cost.
• Project management — Drive schedule, cost and quality for assigned parcels. Coordinate engineering, procurement and site teams.
• Bid support — Give the teams accurate BOM, costing and execution inputs so analysis reflect real build cost.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• ~15 years in solar EPC, with hands-on site execution moving into a project-management role.
• Strong, practical command of solar + BESS BOM, technical scope, costing and layout optimisation.
• Site experience in tracker execution (single-axis trackers) is strongly preferred.
• Exposure to BESS integration in utility-scale plants.
• Proven delivery of large solar parcels on cost, schedule and quality.
• Comfortable with execution challenges of remote, large-scale sites.
• B.E. / B.Tech (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil); PMP or equivalent is a plus.
